theistic evolutionist: viscious apologist for materialism/atheism with some woo-woo powder sprinkled on top.

ID evolutionist: (assuming the IDist as a "theist") what "theistic evolutionist" *would* mean if words were always used logically.

Ilion: this is kind of a weird thing to say, since the "big tent" ID movement runs the gamut from full-blown young-earther Biblical literalists who deny that speciation occurs (such as Paul Nelson) to Michael Behe, who accepts universal common descent but (I guess?) thinks God spends his free time helping bacteria scoot around faster and making your blood clot and stuff.

Andrew T, why don't you try to read *carefully* what I wrote?

Also, I strongly doubt that Paul Nelson (or, really, any other "full-blown young-earther Biblical literalists") denies that speciation occurs. Perhaps you have on your Darwin Goggles and thus can't see clearly what these people do say?
